A woman running, wearing a sakkos, a chiton and himation which streams out behind her left shoulder. In her right hand she holds a wreath. Behind her is a large wool basket.

This vase would have contained perfumed oil, perhaps for offering at the graveside. The wool basket, filled with balls of wool, indicates that this is a domestic scene. Some of the paint around the figure has misfired, turning red rather than the intended black.
