Collected on 27^th June 1876 by F M Webb from some boggy turf over the sea at Longniddry in Haddingtonshire, Scotland.

Frederick Morgan Webb (1841 – 1880) collected extensively in Scotland and some of his collection is stored in the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh archive.
