The horses are standing looking left and right. They are covered in white glazes with large black spots and black manes and tails. The saddle of one is in aubergine with green saddlecloth and yellow harness, the other has the colours reversed. Major Duberly writes: “The Horse is the emblem of speed and perseverance”.
