The tall handsome courtly figure is covered in a sancai (three colour) glaze and stands on a high pierced rockwork base wearing an official’s hat, in biscuit, his hands before his chest. His long robes have a green glaze with cream lower part, head and hands, the border and toes in amber. He wears a raised collar with a frilled border below and his shoes have turned up toes.
