Hubert Burge (1862-1925) was Headmaster of Repton, 1900-1901; Headmaster of Winchester, 1901-1911; Bishop of Southwark, 1911-1919; Bishop of Oxford, 1919-1925.

This is a replica by Harcourt of a portrait he painted for presentation to Burge by the diocese of Southwark.
