This bowl is an exact copy of a Song Dynasty Ge ware original with waved upper part. The glaze is of the type made at Longquan and Hangzhou for the Song emperors. It has a subtle glaze with both celadon and a blue tinge to give this grey effect. The crackle is irregular and dark, while the foot is a darker grey.
