The set comprises a pair of two-handled vases and an incense burner. The cases have flattened ear-shaped handles, baluster bodies and trumpet necks. The incense burner is of circular ding form with tapering legs and ring base. Each piece is painted in blue with flowering branches, stiff leaves and lines to the borders, the unglazed bases are burnt orange.

These belong to the same class of ware as the pair of vases (Ch33), and a similar incense burner was excavated from the tomb of a certain Yuan Langzhen dated to 1456. These wares are known as minyao (commercial kilns). In the Palmer sale they were firmly catalogued as Yuan.
