Athenian Black-Figure, by the Haimonian Group, 500-470 BC
Painted terracotta (h. 14.3 cm, d. 4.7 cm), mouth, neck and upper part of handle missing
Herakles wrestling the Cretan Bull, behind him a knotted club and bundled cloak. On either side are two fleeing female figures, probably nymphs.
